Table de Midi needs an account and a server: that's what makes a fair leaderboard, leagues and streaks possible. Here is exactly what is kept, and how to delete it all. No ads, no third-party trackers in the app, no data resale.
1. Your account
An identifier, your username, and your email address if you sign in with an email code. With Sign in with Apple, the address can be hidden by Apple. Discovery mode works without an account: nothing is sent.
2. Your games
Your answers, their timing, your scores, streaks and leagues. Questions are served one by one and checked by the server to keep the leaderboard fair (one attempt a day).
3. Subscription
For Premium, the status and renewal date sent by Apple. Payment is handled by Apple: no banking data ever reaches us.
4. Your device
A public key that signs results played offline (the private key stays on the iPhone), and a notification token if you accept the noon reminder.
5. Where and how long
Data is hosted in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany or Finland) and kept as long as the account exists. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.
6. Your rights
From the app (Settings > Account): export your data, change your username, delete your account and all its data. For any other request, write to the contact address below; you can also contact the CNIL.
7. This website
This site only sets an analytics cookie (Google Analytics) if you accept it. The support form simply opens your email app.
